ENTERTAINMENTGhost Rider : One hell of a ride There are, I believe, two types of people in the world. There are those that like movies that star Nicolas Cage as a Hell-bound motorcycle rider who has a flaming skull for a head, and those that don’t like movies that star Nicolas Cage as a Hell-bound motorcycle rider who has a flaming skull for a head. The Super Bowl is noted typically to be the most watched television program of the year. Everyone knows about it and almost everyone watches it. Winning best picture at the Academy Awards this year was “The Departed” with its captivating, box office hit performance. The film not only won best picture, but also the spots for best director, best adapted screenplay, and best film editing. SPORTS Morrisville Hockey finishes season strong The 2006-07 season was a transition year for the Morrisville ice hockey team, but the Mustangs held their own in their first season in Division III. Women's basketball wins in final seconds In its inaugural season in Division III, the Morrisville State College women’s basketball team has had somewhat of a rough start in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Swimming and Diving ends with a splash The Mustangs' Swimming and Diving team ended its inaugural NCAA season on Jan. 26 with a meet at Potsdam with Wells College. Both the men and women had wins over Wells College and lost to Potsdam.
