Prof. Bert A.
Hundredmark
1944 - 2006

Bert A. Hundredmark,
'64, was senior professor on the Morrisville State
College faculty when he died on Oct. 13. A 41-year
member of the faculty, Bert--"H" to his students and
friends--taught courses in hospitality and food service
administration. He had a very loyal following of alumni
and many friends on campus and throughout the community.
Bert served for the
last 25 years as president of the Morrisville chapter of
United University Professions. He served as mayor of the
village of Morrisville and on the village board as well
as the Morrisville-Eaton School Board.
Bert was awarded the
SUNY Chancellor's Award of Excellence in Teaching in
1975.
At a memorial service
this week, faculty and staff remember Bert as a friend
and colleague. Former student Kevin Meaney, a renowned
comedian and actor who studied at Morrisville in the
70s, came to campus on his day off from the Broadway
show Hairspray, where he has a starring role.
"Bert was a lifelong friend, and he made a huge
difference in my life," Meaney said.
In his last will and
testament, Bert asked that any contributions in his
memory be made to the Bert Hundredmark Scholarship (c/o
the Morrisville College Foundation, P.O. BOX 901, Bailey

Yankees trainer shares his knowledge
The New York Yankees strength and conditioning
trainer made a visit to Morrisville State College for a few days
earlier this month. Dana Cavalea worked with the Women’s softball
team for three days and ended his stay with a presentation at the
STUAC Theater on Oct. 14.
