Second annual STS symposium focuses on energy alternatives
Members of Morrisville’s sociology department hosted the second annual Science, Technology and Society symposium on Thursday, April 10. Dr. Kurt Reymers and Dr. Wyatt Galusky headed the event that promoted alternative energy solutions for an increasingly dependent world.

Kansas takes all in NCAA play

The NCAA men's basketball championship went to Kansas State after an overtime battle against the University of Memphis Monday, April 7.  The Jayhawks not only beat Memphis 75-68, but stole the Tigers’ spotlight in their chance to at a 39-1 season record.

Men's lacrosse winless but hopeful

The men's lacrosse team lost to Farmingdale State by the narrow margin of 9-8 on Saturday to remain winless on the 2008 season. Their next match, also the team's home opener and first conference game, will be this Saturday, April 5 against SUNY Potsdam.

Softball team spends spring break in Florida

The Morrisville women’s softball team started their season off stronger than last season, winning three out of eight games played during spring break in Florida, making their record 3-8 overall.

Women's lax gets fooled by Potsdam for first loss

The women's lacrosse team lost for the first time this season Tuesday, April 1 against SUNY Potsdam by a score of 19-12. The Lady Mustangs are now 2-1 on the year and have a conference record of 0-1.
