The Men’s basketball team lost a tough game to SUNY Plattsburgh Friday, Nov. 30, finishing with a score of 111-69.

The Mustangs started off strong, scoring the first few baskets, but began to fall behind as the game went on.  Senior Dodrick Spencer scored the first 4 points for the Mustangs, 2 from foul shots in the first few minutes of the half.  By halftime, the Mustangs were in rough shape trailing the ninth-ranked team in the country by a score of 53-29.

At the start of the second half, the Mustangs' first field goal was scored by Sophomore Garnell Vaughn, although Plattsburgh returned with a 3-pointer less than a minute later.

Both Morrisville and Plattsburgh battled it out but the Mustangs just could not catch up, finishing 42 points short.

Leading scorers for the game were Talor Foster with 16 points, Spencer with 10, and Terrell Armstead with 9.

The Mustangs (1-2) play again this Friday, Dec. 7 at SUNY Potsdam. It will be the last game of the fall semester.
