CAMPUSStudents come to college from all different walks of life: the country, the suburbs, the city; not knowing what to expect. When students start college, it is then that they must in some way establish themselves. It is in college that they will not only get an academic education, but also a look at reality. EDITORIALCelebrity endorsements: Should Various celebrities are giving their support by letting it be known whom they want to be the next president. For many people, celebrities' opinions and values are more familiar than the opinions and values of the presidential candidates. A celebrity endorsement of a candidate is definitely going to get attention and possibly influence the American voters.
Cameras flash. The reporters thrust their microphones closer to Mike Huckabee in hopes of getting the all-important sound bite. What will he say? Will he describe his healthcare plan, or maybe his agenda regarding the Constitution? Suddenly, someone steps through the ironclad media barrier. The man brandishes a squirt bottle and scissors. With a bewildered look, he wets and begins to trim Mike Huckabee’s hair. The frenzied reporters and camera people froth at the mouth. They press closer, shouting questions. Reporters yell at their photographers, “Are you getting this?” The media just can’t get enough of Mike Huckabee’s haircut. LIFESTYLEFly For Fun, or commonly known as Flyff, is an addicting, and free to play, MMORPG. It also won the title of 3rd most favorite free to play MMORPG. The characters themselves are highly inspired by anime, and are generally colorful and detailed. It might bug you a bit that regardless of your class, your avatar will always resemble a little kid in stature, but that’s what makes this game so adorable. Fashion week began strong in New York City with numerous designers sporting their new trends for the fall season. SPORTS Morrisville hockey ends with 5 wins The Mustang ice hockey team finished out the 2007-08 season with an overall record of 5-20-0 and a conference record of 1-15. Morrisville’s only win against a SUNYAC opponent came Jan. 19 at SUNY Brockport, where the Mustangs outscored the Golden Eagles 3-1.
