If you’re the kind of person who likes movies the way they used to make them, or if you're are a fan of classic westerns, "3:10 To Yuma" is perfect for you.

Ben Wade is a captured outlaw who is being escorted by a cruel detective (Peter Fonda), a heartwarming doctor (Alan Tudyk), a rail road man (Dallas Roberts), Dan Evans, and Evans’ teenage son who tags along without his father’s knowing. The group is on a mission to get Wade on a 3:10 train to Yuma Arizona where Wade will be put on trial for his crimes. Just behind the group though are Wade’s gang of outlaws Led by the crazed Charlie Prince (Ben Foster) who will stop at nothing to rescue him.

Throughout the story, you begin to understand the characters. As you get to know Evans better, you learn how much he cares for his family and land. Wade, although he stays complicated and secretive, does begin to show  who he really is. He is a guy who, although he is a murderer, has a heart of gold.

The film was based on the short story written by Elmore Leonard. Director and script writer James Mangold does a brilliant job at weaving together action and internal drama throughout the story. It features an outstanding cast led by Crowe and Bale, who deliver phenomenal performances in roles that seem to have been written for them.

"3:10 To Yuma" is an action packed, self fulfilling movie. This movie would entertain any audience. If you’re an action lover or classic western lover I highly recommend you see this film. You won’t regret it.
